Hiya Debbie & Shane,

I just want to send my well-wishes to both of you as you embark on this journey.

I have lots of friends at work who adopts too and one of the couple adopted even though they just had a second baby ..... my hats & respect to them.

I am here 'walking' with both of you and being Chinese and knowing that you are adopting from China if you need help or advice..I will always be here for both of you :)

Just thought I would check and see whats new on the website. everything looks great and what a difference from the last time I was on.   It has grown so much!!   You can really feel the love you have for your baby girl, even now, before she gets here.   She is a very lucky little girl.

IT'S 11.28PM AND I'VE JUST FINISHED ANOTHER TAX RETURN...DECIDED TO POP IN FOR A VISIT! WHAT A GREAT BENEFIT CONCERT LAST NIGHT...WE ENJOYED OURSELVES SO MUCH, ENDED UP AT THE STETSON'S FOR COFFEE AND DONUTS...AND I GOT THREE PIECES OF CROSS STITCH IN THE SILENT AUCTION.   NOW, TO GET THEM ALL FRAMED! IT WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO ME WHEN ANDREW ASKED ALL THE CHILDREN FROM CHINA TO COME UP ON THE STAGE...THEY WERE SO BEAUTIFUL.   AND THE DVD...CAROLINE AND I SAT THERE AND CRIED TOGETHER. THESE LITTLE CHILDREN TRULY ARE OUR "SUNSHINE!" LOVE YOU ALL..SWEET DREAMS. GAYLE

Your getting so close to DTC...I'm excited for you!! I'm also using FOI and adopting through the WC program. Hoping to have my dossier to FOI in a few weeks.
I just love following your blog and website. Thats special how you have included Jaclyn in the naming process. I love the name "Callie", she did a great job!!
Well I will continue to follow your journey and maybe we'll end up meeting at next years FOI picnic.

Can't tell you how glad we are to be going through this wonderful experience at the same time as you.   I hope that our girls will grow up knowing each other.

I just looked at your quilt blog and realized that the piece of fabric I gave you is too small!...so sorry!...I will get you another one.   It might not be right away...I have to wait until I see it.

Anyway...I wish you more ups than downs during your wait.   Sometimes the wait can be long, so I hope everything is smooth sailing for you and the wait times decrease just as quickly as they increased!

Hey Deb and Shane,

It is great to hear that the documents are finally in Ottawa and it will be a few weeks and the seals will be in place and the documents will be in China.   I wish you all the best over the next few weeks as you wait for the documents to be finalized.   I also want to let you know Deb that I am still looking for fabric for the Quilt.  

I pray that your up coming concert will be a success and would like to express my sympathies to you in the passing of Harley.

I was out to Bedeque Bargin's new spot on the highway and saw some really attractive cottons for quiltings as well as seeing a few oriental bolts too.   Things seem more visible in their new locale, maybe they had these cottons all along but you can sure see them better now in their new spot.   Just wanted you to know about it;you may have already seen their selection, anyway I keep praying things will move along quickly for your adoption.

The website looks great.   I love what you wrote about adoption.   You and I share our faith.   It is amazing how God is openning the hearts of His children to adopt these precious girls.   And we have been adopted by the best Father of all!   I am so happy for your family!   The "Gotcha" nail polish is amazing...He speaks to us each in such unique ways so that we can hear Him and know that it is Him.

Baby Callie is on my mind alot today. I think about her every day. I dream about holding her, taking her to the park, taking her for an icecream, then taking her home all sticky and dirty for her ma ma and ba ba to clean her up!

Actually never mind Yie Lori (Aunt Lori) will bath her and watch her splash and play in the water. I can't wait to see her big sister hold her (my heart just melts at the though) I can't wait for her taste of her Aunties homemade chicken stew (wonder if she'll love it as much as her big sister). I can't wait until her big sister teaches her to put a whole piece of cake in her mouth on her birthday~! Her Auntie will be waiting close by with the camera ready to take a picture~! (You know its gona happen whether you like it or not). I can't wait until she has her first giggle fit!

I wonder if her eyes will light up like Jaclyn's on Christmas morning. JACK ARE YOU GETTING THE HINT YET THAT I MISS YOU BEING A LITTLE GIRL? Actually, your eyes still light up like a little girl at times and you still have giggle fits like a little girl and when you stog that whole piece of cake in your mouth on your B'day every year and get cake all over your face, ya kinda look like a little girl again!! (LOL)

Your gona make such an wonderful big sister. If she turns out to be half as wonderful, unique, funny and beautiful as you we will be blessed beyond our dreams.

Can't wait.....Wonder if she is born yet?...... Maybe she'll be born today! Love you all....especially you Jack, you know you were my 15th Birthday present! Best Birthday present an Aunt could ever get!!!!! xoxoxoxxo

My name is Jennifer Brant.   I was sitting at my daughter's Christmas Concert in the Church basement a couple of weeks ago and a lady asked me if I just had the one daughter ...I usually don't reply this way, but I said that I did so far but that we were in the process of adopting from China and then she told me her hair dresser was too.   We have our last meeting with Pat (our SW) on Jan 3rd, so it sounds like we are at about the same stage. I thought that was kinda neat! I am sure I will meet you soon.   We were not able to go to the last get together, as it was my daughter Savannah's 11th Birthday party.   By the way I love your website!

Yesterday, when I seen the jar with the words "our baby from China" and you told me the great news I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes because your such a great person.   I am so glad that you will have this opportunity to share your love with another child.   My thoughts and prayers are with you in your families journey to adopt baby "Callie Gallant"..... Hi Cousin!

This is such amazing news. I am so proud of you for doing this. It is heartwarming to see you all opening your hearts to a baby that really needs help and who deserves as loving of a family as I know you will all be to her.   Shane, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you yet, but I already know I am going to love you to pieces.
